Richard qualified in 1997 and joined Howard and John after four years as a partner in a firm in Southampton. He has experience of purchases and sales of businesses as well as the preparation of accounts for companies, partnerships and sole traders and the associated tax work. He particularly likes finding ways of saving clients tax (don't we all...).
Richard grew up and was educated in Woking and Guildford. After three years at Reading University, he went to an international firm of accountants in Southampton for his professional training. Deciding that he preferred helping clients who actually own their businesses, Richard moved to a smaller firm in Wickham and then to Southsea.
Richard is 42, married with a stepdaughter. He enjoys stage musicals and has been involved in amateur productions. Likes films, walking in the countryside and gardening. Attends his local United Reform Church and will under pressure admit a dislike of DIY around the home. |
