- As you would expect, we do a lot of accounts preparation for clients. This can be anything from a simple set of accounts for a one-person business, partnership accounts, limited company accounts and occasionally accounts for small public limited liability companies;

- Allied with this, we prepare many different tax calculations for our clients ranging from personal tax, business and company tax to capital gains tax and help with P11Ds and VAT issues;
- There are occasions when we need specialist tax advice to deal with difficult tax problems and we have contacts with some of the largest firms of accountants in the country. We always ask you before obtaining such advice and provide guidance on the likely costs;
- One of the main ways we help clients is in financial and tax planning. This means we work with you in planning what is going to happen or is likely to happen in the future. Properly used on the right occasions, this can help to make you aware of problems yet to be faced as well as opportunities for tax savings;
- We can help you in buying or selling businesses and/or commercial property and have much experience in negotiating with other people and liaising and briefing the inevitable lawyers. Again, properly used, this can be advantageous for clients and occasionally helps to keep the lawyer's costs down!
